איפה נפגשים? The Prophets 26 Jerusalem
Are you also in the prophets?
A tour following contemporary prophets on Neviim Street in Jerusalem.
Who is the king who fled to Jerusalem? 👑
Why do the residents of Mea Shearim have a church near the house? ⛪️
When and where was the language war held? 🔫
And why was the body of an elderly Jewish woman repeatedly exhumed from her grave? 💀
Where will we tour?
🚶♂️🚶🚶♀️ On the tour “Are you also a prophet?” We will tour the special buildings of Prophets Street and the Abyssinian neighborhood and get to know the fascinating story of inspiring people who sought, and changed, the world in which they lived. 😌
You will learn about the Italian Hospital and you will see the only church in the world that has a mezuzah! Hear about the first girls’ school in the city that is active to this day, meet the only person registered in the Jerusalem population register as king, understand why there are 5 hospitals on one street, touch the land on it through the German emperor, sing a serenade to Eliezer Ben Yehuda and visit an Ethiopian church *.
Important information
• The tour lasts two and a half hours, but if everyone is in the segment, we also flow together for three.
• It is recommended to arrive in comfortable shoes for walking, bring a bottle of water and something to wrap yourself in in the Jerusalem air conditioner in the evening.
• Ethiopian Church ; Since the Corona began the entry option has been restricted so we may or may not be able to enter. To enter, one must arrive in modest attire
• The tour is wheelchair accessible except at two sites ; Mahnayim House and the Ethiopian Church
