A little about the track:

Climb the Old City Walls . Fortress of David and topography of Jerusalem in the time of Jesus. Location of the palace of Herod the Great – the seat of Pontius Pilate. The route of the first, second and third walls of Jerusalem on the eve of the destruction. A tour of the Walls Promenade. Observation of the Armenian Quarter and the Mount of Olives: The Traditions of Jacob “Brother Jesus” and King Solomon. Descend from the wall at Zion Gate.

Zion in the biblical and Christian traditions. “Tomb of David” and the Last Supper Room.

Cardo – the main street of Elia Capitoline (2nd century AD) and traditions of “ Via Dolorosa ” from the Byzantine period to the present day. Excavations after the Six Day War. Remains of walls from the First Temple period and the days of the Maccabees. A short visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

Observation of the Temple Mount: Repetition of the topography of Jerusalem in the days of Jesus, the location and presumed appearance of the Temple . A short tour of the ancient rooftops. Robinson’s Arch and a section of a street from the Second Temple period.
